Mass flow meter is a typical application of Coriolis force, which allows the measured fluid to pass through a vibrating measuring tube, the flow of fluid in the pipe is equivalent to linear motion, the vibration of the measuring tube will produce an angular velocity, because the vibration is driven by an applied electromagnetic field, has a fixed frequency, and thus the Coriolis force on the fluid in the pipeline is only related to its mass and speed of motion, and the mass and speed of motion, i.e. the product of the flow rate is the mass flow rate to be measured. The product of mass and velocity is the mass flow rate to be measured, so by measuring the Coriolis force on the fluid in the pipe, the mass flow rate can be measured.
