The working principle of the hot gas mass flow meter is to calculate the gas flow rate based on the temperature change generated when the gas flows through the sensor. The principle it utilizes is thermal diffusion. But even so, the working conditions of the hot gas mass flowmeter are not that the higher the temperature, the better. The ambient temperature it can withstand is between -10℃~55℃, so it cannot be used in an environment with an ambient temperature higher than 55℃. Work.

Because the ambient temperature is too high, the accuracy of the sensor will decrease or even fail to work properly. There are control circuits and some precision components inside the sensor that cannot adapt to high temperatures. The sensor can directly convert and display the measured parameter values. Outflow is a very important piece of equipment.

But the ambient temperature does not mean that the temperature of the fluid can only be lower than 55°C. The fluid temperature range is between -10°C and 120°C, because the pipe section through which the fluid passes is insulated, and The specific heat capacity of gases is generally low and will not have a major impact on the ambient temperature.

So when using a hot gas mass flow meter to measure gas flow, the ambient temperature must be controlled and kept below 55°C.
